4.4 to 22 Amp range when used without Current Transformers.
Motor Protection: Preventing the Burn-out
Models CDP and CRP are current sensing devices. Loss of phase will give a positive trip with a complete loss of phase current. Other voltage sensing devices will always see a voltage on all three legs for the reason that the unpowered motor leg will act as a transformer and therefore give an output voltage to the sensor. The sensor will then see three voltages on the motor and will need to be finely tuned.
Use with motor voltages up to 600 VAC.
Control power required for operation: 100 to 260 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 1 PH
Output contacts: 3A, 250 VAC resistive load
Adjustable Trip Amps
Solid-state Microprocessor Based
Class 1 to 30 infinitely selectable via trip time setting: 0 to 30 Seconds, set time is the trip time at six times the set current.
Operational Temperature: -25 to +70 degrees C
Three Phase Sensing
Screw or DIN rail mount.
Screw Terminals
Protections:
Phase current unbalance
Phase loss/phase failure
Stall Protection
Phase current unbalance: trips within 5 seconds when the phase current unbalance exceeds 50%.
Phase loss/phase failure: trips within 3 seconds when phase current is 70% unbalanced.
Stall Protection: Trips at 170% of full load amps at 3 seconds.
LED indication of faults for over current, phase failure.
Units for single phase and units with current tunnels rather than screw termnals are also available.
